The game has a lot of fans around the world even though the last "normal" game was released 10 years ago. I know about the latest Arena game. I haven't played it or seen it in action. IMHO, the game is too far away from the original games.

Wing Commander has meant a lot for me as a person and I still think about the game from time to time even though I don't play it. I don't play it that often because I don't have the time or the right computer setup at the moment.
